A simple study-break routine
Finish a study block, choose a comfortable 3×3 or 5×5 table, and complete one or two rounds. Return to your coursework afterward. Keeping the exercise short makes it easier to notice whether the break feels useful without turning it into another assignment.
Track the right outcome
The game timer tells you how fast you found numbers. To judge learning, use recall questions, practice problems, or a comprehension check on the actual subject. A faster grid time cannot establish better exam performance.
Adapt to your setting
Use a quiet screen or a printable page. If you are tired, choose a smaller grid or skip the timer. Students who want to read faster should practise reading with comprehension, not assume a visual search drill will transfer automatically.
